Onnitteluruusu, olkaa hyvä

Tämä tyylikäs kortti perustuu Our Creative Cornerin malliin ja koristeet täyttävät Penny Blackin haasteen vaatimukset. Idea paperiruusun laittamisesta leimatun päälle tähän kuvaan syntyi jo useampi viikko sitten, mutta nyt pääsin viimein toteuttamaan :)
Fabulous, but simple sketch is from Our Creative Corner. That white flower was so perfect to replace the stamped one, that I will use this idea again. The other flower is to complete Penny Black Saturday Challenges week 59s recipe: 3 Ribbons, 2 Flowers and 1 Pin/Charm. Pin is after congratulations= onnea.

Onkos tullut joulu kesän keskelle

Kun näin tämän Paukun suunnittelmean Jehkottaren tämän viikkoisen haasteeseen, tiesin heti että haluan osallistua. Osoittautui kuitenkin vaikeaksi keksiä sopivia leimakuvia, joten mikseivät kaikki 3 kuvaa voisi olla samaa isoa leimaa?
Harmi vain että omistamistani leimasimista vain yksi soveltui tähän tarkoitukseen ja se oli jouluinen xD Joten osallistun samalla One Stop Craft Challengeen, jossa on alettu valmistautua jo jouluun. Kortista ei vain tullut kovinkaan jouluinen, vaan pikemminkin talvinen.
I used the sketch from Jehkotar Card Challenge. I got the idea to chop one big stamp to three little pictures.
At first I couldn't possibly understand, why anyone would make Christmas card in July! But here I'm taking part to One Stop Craft Challenge xD This was my only suitable stamp for chopping.

Yritin myös osallistua Secret Crafter Saturday Challengeen numero 42, mutta en ihan täytä vaatimuksia.
Last Saturday Secret Crafter challenged to use 3 buttons, 2 design papers and 1 ribbon. I have the two last ones, but those snowflakes arent buttons. I don't know what's the correct word for them... metallic confetti?

Kesäkukkia

Innostuin kuvaamaan ulkona, kun on niin kaunis ilma :) Kortistakin tuli niin kesäinen, leiman tyttö on niin suloinen minusta.

Ajelulla kanojen kanssa

Tämä herttainen kortti on menossa syntymäpäiväksi eräälle hyvälle ystävälle, jota täytyykin nyt sitten kieltää tulemasta tänne xD
This card is I was inspired by Mojo Mondays this weeks (#96) sketch. Penny Blacks current Saturday Challenge requires something "soft and sweet". This sweet stamp (Penny Black: For A Spin) isn't mine, I have gotten this picture in exchange. Paper from Daisy & Dandelions Picnic Patch doesn't have flowers on it - I stamped those flowers there. Ribbon is from a blogcandy.

Ruusuja

Prinsessan vaunut

Halusin kokeilla paper piecing -tekniikkaa uudestaan, kun se kerran oli yhtenä tämän viikon haasteena. Olisin tietysti voinut pilkkoa kuvaa enemmänkin, mutta joku toinen kerta sitten. Prinsessan kruunun ei ole tarkoituskaan näkyä juuri taustalta, sain jo nimittäin kommenttia että se peittyy liikaa.
Truly Scrumptious Challenge: sketch + black, white &  one other colour. I chose pink and will add the sentiment when I know who receives the card.
Simon Says: Paper piece! I practised this techique with Snag'em Stamps Carriage (from Fairest of them all collection). Stamp on the background paper (which is letter paper by the way) is Papermanias Snag'em Stamps Duos: Pixie Princess.
Flower and ribbon are from the candy, I won - thank you Debbie :)

jotain sinistä

Malli on Cutie Sunday haasteesta tältä viikolta. Leimat ovat Penny Blackilta ja sininen kuviopaperi Tiimarin alemyynnistä.
The sketch of Cutie Sunday gave me ideas on the moment, I saw it. So here is my version of it. Stamps are from Penny Black , butterflies have silver stickers on them and onnea means congratulations.

Kesä mielessä

A Spoon full of Sugar challenge vaati jotain kesäistä ja tämä Penny Blackin leima tuli heti mieleeni. Samalla osallistuin pariin muuhunkin haasteeseen.
This card is based on a sketch from Penny Black Saturday Challenge, summery theme from A Spoon Full of Sugar and using just two colors from ABC Challenge. Green and lilac are so beautiful together. There are pink and blue in the flowers, but I hope that's okay. For a change borders are wider than usually. I used tiny embellishments, but card hardly needed any.

Bloginamu on saapunut!

Debbien lähettämä bloginamu on saapunut. Upean kortin sisällä oli paljon ihania leimakuvia. Mukana myös söpöjä nauhoja ja suloisia paperikukkasia.

Blogcandy from Debbie arrived today! The gorgeous card had two pockets inside full of stamped images from Penny Black, Magnolia, Sugar Nellie and Wiff of Joy. So many beautiful ribbons and flowers are fabulous - I haven't used paper flowers before but now I can practise with these. Thank you so much Debbie, I couldn't be happier :)

Sinisiä ilmapalloja

En tiedä millä nimellä suomeksi paper piecing -tekniikkaa pitäisi kutsua, mutta tässä on youtube -video, josta ymmärtää idean. Aika helppoa se oli ilmapalloleimalla kokeilla. Osallistun  tällä kortilla muutamaan haasteeseen.
I tried the paper piecing technique for the first time, althoug it wasn't that hard with balloons but still interesting. The stamp is from Penny Blacks Critter Party set, papers from couple of sets and thread is for seweing.
The sketch is from is current challenge of Friday Sketchers and I used only shades of blue to qualify the card to Double Dutch Challenge.  This card could very well be given to a boy, so I also participate in Everybody Art Challenge.
