Poneja! / My Little Ponys!

Fussy and Fancy Friday haaste pyytää tällä viikolla jotain siivellistä, joten tässä on poneja! Joillain My Little Ponyilla on siivet, eli eikös nekin lasketa siivekkäiksi? Löysin nämä leimat joskus Suomalaisesta Kirjakaupasta ja piti ottaa mukaan. Tein maiseman Stampendouksen ja Artemion leimoilla, kukkaleiman valmistajaa en tiedä.

Fussy and Fancy Friday challenged us to show something with wings, so here are some ponys xD Some My Little Ponys have wings, so they count right? I found some MLP stamps in a book shop, and couldn't leave them there. I made a scene with some Stampendous butterflies, clouds and sun stamps, Artemio forest and unknown flowers. I stitched the paper on the cardbase and covered the sun with glossy accent.

Kerran esittelin Anitan 3D lakan ja Rangerin Glossy Accentin eroja. Tässä vielä tällainen vertailukuva, kuinka Anitan tuotteella päällystetty aurinko on ihan kiva, mutta Glossy Accentillä tehty perhonen on paljon tasaisempi lopputuloksena.

Once I talked about the difference between Anitas 3D Clear Gloss Finish and Rangers Glossy Accent. Here you can see how the sun is covered with Anitas product, but the much smoothier finish on the butterfly was done with Glossy Accent.

Synttärikortti

Penny Blackilla viikonloppuisen luonnoshaasteen pohjalta lähdin tekemään tällaista korttia. Pitkänomaisen leimakuvan voi myös itse helposti tehdä :) Tästä kehkeytyi synttärikortti. Mikä lie mielenhäiriö iski eilisiltana, kun keksin laittaa kimalleliimaa muffinssiin ja läpinäkyvään nappiin - en kimalteesta piittaa ollenkaan.
Värittäessäni tätä kuvaa, kaveri kommentoi että se ei ole kovinkaan värikäs. Minusta se oli melkoisen värikäs xD Hänestä olisi parempi käyttää useampi värejä, eikä vain eri sävyjä muutamasta sävystä. No, kukin tavallaan :)

This is a card for Penny Blacks weekend sketch challenge. I had to learn how to use their gallery take part xD I really enjoyed this challenge! I used mice from two transparent sets, because of the long type of space in the sketch. I coloured mice with watercolour crayons and added glitter clue to the muffin and a clear button. It was very unsual of me, I don't like glitter. Background is stamped with Versamark and the corner punch is by Fiskars.

Lennä ilmapallolla!

Etsin taannoin taas kerran sopivaa tekstiä synttärionnitteluun, kun törmäsin kortissa olevaan lainaukseen Nalle Puhista. Tiesin heti millaisen kortin haluan toteuttaa :) Aika erikoinen siitä tuli, mutta niin oli tarkoituskin ihanan ystävän synttärikortiksi. Ilmapallojen värittäminen vesivärikynillä olikin aika vaikeaa tällä kartongilla, mutta elävämmän näköisiähän niistä vain tuli. Osallistun Cute Card Thursdayn 1-vuotishaasteeseen kortillani.

When I saw this quotation, I knew what kind of a card I would make about it. It's very different than usually, I coloured the balloons the highlighting technique in mind. My card will take part in the Cute Card Thursdays Celebrations challenge.

Liian iso juhlahattu

This really was the best picture and it isn't straight x_x Sometimes photographing is so hard.

The sketch for Whiff of Joys 50th challenge was inspiring, but I had to rotate it. I like the color combination.

Ensimmäinen Magnolia korttini

Pidän tästä väriyhdistelmästä yllättävän paljon, harmi että tämä oli viimeinen syklaami korttipohja :( Yleensä käytän pastellisävyisiä korttipohjia, kun olen niitä löytänyt halvalla, mutta on alkanut tuntua että tarvitaan enemmän väriä.

The raincoat had to be yellow. I know raincoats can be any color, but it had to be yellow! Can't explain it xD I guess that's suppose to be umbrella, but it looks more like a parasol to me. And perfect color to parasol in this case is that certain pink, which I call cyclamen. Wellington boots are green, because it completed these colors. So that's how I picked the colors for this sweet Magnolia girl. Although colors are really brighter than in the picture =/
I made this card Midnight Madness challenge sketch #15 in mind, but it was really hard! I tried yellow rectangles and blue card, but it just wasn't right. Finding the right ribbon was difficult too, but I went with this bright and cute yellow one.
Besides, Midnight Madness challenge, I take part in Just Magnolia challenge 18. Theme is friendship and this would be perfect card to thank a friend for lending a helping hand. To my big suprise, today Charisma Cardz challenged to use color combo lemon, green and pink! My card qualifies to that challenge also.

Nalle Puh

Very simple card, but still so sweet. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet is a glossy picture and I embossed lines to make a grid for the little stamped images. Sketch is Inspirational Card Sketches number 30.
