Pirteää keltaista

Viime aikoina on vain nukkekotijuttuja ollut tekeillä, korttitarpeita en ole edes kaivanut esiin. Maanantai-iltana oli viimeinen hetki tehdä pääsiäiskortti ja siihen piti tarttua. Tiimarista ostetusta paperikosta löytyi kivaa keltaista paperia, ja siitä idea lähti. Käytin vanhaa Clean and Simple luonnosta. Suloinen kanileima on tietysti Penny Blackiltä. Pääsiäisteema on One Stop Craft ja Everybody-Art haasteissa.

I have focused on miniatures lately, and haven't even touched my card making supplies! On monday night I needed an Easter card, and the yellow paper was a good start. I used an old sketch of Clean and Simple, and the Penny Black bunny suited it very well. One Stop Craft and Everybody-Art Challenges have Easter-theme this week.

Joulukortteja

Olen viime viikon keskittynyt joulukorttien tekoon ja tässä niitä nyt on. Aika perinteisillä väreillä tein ja innoitusta hain monista korttihaasteista.
Here are couple of Christmas cards I have made lately. Stamped images are Penny Blacks, and some backgrounds are decorated with Rhonna Farrers Flourish with dots by Versamark. I used Woodwares punches, for example the flowers.

This card is based on sketch by Mojo Monday, but I rotated it a little bit. The gorgeous ribbon is from Askartelukulma.

I used sketch from Friday Sketchers. Simple way is the best what comes to Christmas cards xD

Everybody Art Challenge required using only red and green, and here is what I came up with. I went a little crazy with those flowers, but garland is beautiful.


I rotated sketch by Cutie Sunday and here is my pretty Christmas card. Maybe I should have used Versamark to decorate this background too, I feel like something is missing.

Sinisiä ilmapalloja

En tiedä millä nimellä suomeksi paper piecing -tekniikkaa pitäisi kutsua, mutta tässä on youtube -video, josta ymmärtää idean. Aika helppoa se oli ilmapalloleimalla kokeilla. Osallistun  tällä kortilla muutamaan haasteeseen.
I tried the paper piecing technique for the first time, althoug it wasn't that hard with balloons but still interesting. The stamp is from Penny Blacks Critter Party set, papers from couple of sets and thread is for seweing.
The sketch is from is current challenge of Friday Sketchers and I used only shades of blue to qualify the card to Double Dutch Challenge.  This card could very well be given to a boy, so I also participate in Everybody Art Challenge.
