Veikeä joulukortti

Testasin korttimallia nimeltä Flip Flop card / Swing card.  Reunoista vetämällä kortti avautuu ja keskiosa heilahtaa :)

I tried out a card called Flip Flop card or Swing card. When you pull edges of the card, the card opens up and the section on the middle flips :)

 Leimat Artemion jouluseteistä, väritetty Distress Inkeillä. Kortti pysyy vielä paremmin pystyssä, kun reunoissa on ompelukoneella ommellut kaistaleet. Osallistun Our Creative Cornerin haasteeseen, jos tämä nyt lasketaan erikoisen muotoiseksi kortiksi.

I stamped the card with Artemios Impressionist Christmas stamps and coloured with Distress Inks (Peeled Paint and Aged Mahogany). I enter Our Creative Corner challenge with this card, if this is counted as shaped card.

Tällä puolella väriero on vähän turhan jyrkkä, mutta siinä vaiheessa olin jo vauhdissa. Alla vielä kuva taitetusta kortista toiselta puolelta.

The difference between colours is quite radical, but it was too late to change my mind. The last is picture of folded card on the other side.

Suloinen mäyrä

Penny Blackin haasteessa pyydettiin tällä viikolla lempi PB leimakuvaa. Minä valitsin tämän ihanan mäyrän, Bashful Badger. Se oli pakko tilata, tämähän ei ole yleisesti ollut saatavilla vuosiin. Mäyrä on niin ihanan suloinen, kaino villapaitoineen ja saappaineen. Väritys  on mäyräksi liian valkoinen, mutta tummat kädet näyttivät omituisilta. Nenänpäähän laitoin glossy accenttia.

Penny Black Stamps challenged everybody to use their favorite PB stamp. I picked my latest purchase, Bashful Badger :) I just had to have him! He's so cute in the sweater and boots and the bashful look melts my heart! I admit, that there's too much white color for him, but dark hands didn't look good. I highlighted his nose with glossy finish.  

Vaaleansiniseen korttipohjaan levitin weathered wood distress mustetta ja leimasin valkoisella Rachel Ann Millerin pilviä, paperit ovat Papermanialta. Luonnoksen nappasin Sketch Saturday haasteelta ja osallistun myös Cards for Men ja Our Creative Cornerin haasteisiin. 

I distressed a light blue cardstock with Weathered Wood and stamped clouds (Rachelle Ann Miller) with Brilliance white ink. The papers are Papermanias and the vellum is from my stash. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday, animals were asked in Cards for men, and masculine cards in Our Creative Corner.

Onnitteluruusu, olkaa hyvä

Tämä tyylikäs kortti perustuu Our Creative Cornerin malliin ja koristeet täyttävät Penny Blackin haasteen vaatimukset. Idea paperiruusun laittamisesta leimatun päälle tähän kuvaan syntyi jo useampi viikko sitten, mutta nyt pääsin viimein toteuttamaan :)
Fabulous, but simple sketch is from Our Creative Corner. That white flower was so perfect to replace the stamped one, that I will use this idea again. The other flower is to complete Penny Black Saturday Challenges week 59s recipe: 3 Ribbons, 2 Flowers and 1 Pin/Charm. Pin is after congratulations= onnea.
