Long time no see

Blogini on ollut hiljainen on jo pitkän aikaa, mutta kyllä tämä tästä taas :) Postaaminen on ollut välillä mielessä, mutta aikaa ei ole ollut tai inspiraatio ei ole iskenyt. Viime sunnuntaina käsittelin paljon kuvia blogaamista varten ja tein suunnitelmaa postausjärjestyksestä, sen pitäisi nyt auttaa. Tosin on vielä vanhempiakin juttuja näyttämättä, aloitetaan tästä pari vuotta vanhasta projektista.

My blog has been pretty much quiet for half a year, but here I am again :) I have been thinking about blogging couple of times each month, but never found time or inspiration. Keeping an active blog isn't always easy as you know. On last Sunday I organized lots of photos and made an order of blog posts to do, so that should help me making up the lost time. Although there are even older stuff not seen here, so lets start with this project I did two years ago.

Ensin minulla oli vain yksi Sylvanialainen ankkalapsonen, mutta pian piti saada kolme lisää. Syy oli tämä idea ankanpoikien yhteisestä pinnasängystä :D Rakensin sen grillitikuista. Mittaamista ja liimaamista se vaati, mutta ei se kovin vaikeaa ollut.

At first I had only one duckling, but soon I wanted three more. I needed at least four to make them a shared cot :D I made it from wooden barbecue sticks, and it took some gluing.

Etureuna on irroitettava ja sille on kaksi eri korkeutta. Matalampi siksi, että aikuiset hahmot yltävät reunan yli.

The front balustrade can be adjusted to two heights, because I wanted a lower one two. I made the thick matress from old sheet.

Myöhemmin tein peitot ja tyynyt ohuesta flanellista. Se on usein liian paksua nukkisjuttuihin, mutta rispaantumattomana oikein kätevää. ihastuin sen pieniin beigeihin ja turkoisiin tähtiin.

Later the ducklings got pillows and blankets from thin fuzzy fabric. I saw it in fabric store, and had to buy it because of miniature pattern with tiny beige and turqoise stars. It is too thick for most dollhouse projects, but it doesn't fray.
