I was inspirated by Jennifers acetate card and tried stamping note lines on acetate. It was a good start for a Christmas card and baubles worked so well for it. I adhered circles on the other parts of card, so there was room to write Christmas wishes. I enter my card to Charisma Cardz and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenges.

I wanted a lighter background and just stamped some Inkadinkados snowflake trail on acetate card - it looks great! I used Brialliances white pigment ink to stamp, it worked here, but otherwise I haven't been so happy with the ink. With acrylic stamps stamping trace isn't constant, because the ink pad is so porous, and it didn't stamp on coated paper :K

Tässä kuvassa hopeinen joulukuusi sinisellä taustallaan pääsee enemmän esiin. Osallistun One Stop Craft ja Stamptacular Sunday haasteiden talviteemaan sekä Simon Says Stamp haasteeseen.
Hyvää uutta vuotta!

You can see the blue background and the Christmas tree embellishment better on white background. I enter my card to Simon Says Stamp challenge and the winter themes of One Stop Craft and Stamptacular Sunday Challenges.
Happy New Year!

Vau! Nämä ovat mielettömän upeita! Ihanan herkkä tunnelma.

Kiva kuulla, että joulupukki pääsi yllättämään sinut Maijun kirjalla, ainakin minä olen siitä tykännyt tosi paljon.

Thank you for your comment over at The Shabby Tea Room today. I did not see an address where I could contact you via e-mail, so forgive my reply here on your blog.

I appreciate your comments about our challenges, but 'challenge' is just that -- it requires someone to think outside the box and go beyond what she might be comfortable with to create a unique and creative work of art!

We at The Shabby Tea Room pride ourselves on providing fun challenges that stretch our followers imaginations while providing inspiration through our Design Team samples too!

This week's challenge is called 'Time Flies' and we're asking you to use something with WINGS in your design. We provided the pretty inspiration picture this week for INSPIRATION! You may be inspired by the colors or the wings on the owls or the layout of the photo or anything that catches your eye. That's it ... as long as your card has WINGS on it this week, then you may submit it to be considered for this challenge.

At this time, we at The Shabby Tea Room are very happy with the quality and technical level of our challenges. We do not feel the need to make our challenges less difficult ... most of our weekly challenges are quite flexible -- requiring only a color palette or colors and the addition of an embellishment or embellishment only.

I hope this helps you understand how we create the themes for our weekly challenges and the Design Team at The Shabby Tea Room looks forward to seeing some of your creations soon!
